Jennifer Baker

Jennifer Baker is an attorney assisting in the firm’s business and general civil litigation department, as well as its appellate practice. Prior to joining the firm, Jennifer was an associate with a premier mid-size firm in Reno, Nevada. After leaving the full-time practice of law to raise her children, Jennifer continued providing contract legal research and writing services to multiple attorneys in several states. Her background primarily involves business, real estate, and trust and estate litigation.

As a National Merit Scholar, Jennifer was awarded a full scholarship to The Ohio State University, where she received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications. Thereafter, she obtained her Juris Doctor degree from The University of Kentucky College of Law. During law school, Jennifer was employed as a research assistant for her tax professor, as well as the antitrust professor. She also acted as a Volunteer Income Tax Assistant, was a founding member and officer of the Clay Chapter of the law fraternity Phi Alpha Delta, and an officer on the Moot Court Board.

Jennifer resides in Milton, Georgia with her husband, who is also an attorney, and her three children. She is currently licensed to practice law in Nevada and Kentucky. She drafted amicus curiae briefs for the published Nevada Supreme Court cases Lioce v. Cohen, 174 P.3d 970 (Nev. 2008) and In re Lerner, 197 P.3d 1067 (Nev. 2008).
